Y’all, I’m so excited! Monday I took a pregnancy test on a whim because I noticed my nipples had been super sensitive. I honestly didn’t think much of it, I thought for sure it would be negative. That baby lit up with two lines so fast! I was shocked because I had taken a test on February 4th and it was negative so I just assumed I wasn’t pregnant (last period was January 2).

Anyway as soon as I saw those two lines I start shaking and crying from excitement! And then I broke open another test, and sure enough it was positive too! Let me also mention, Monday was my first day at my new job, so Monday was an all around good day! I went to Target after work and bought two more sets of pregnancy tests, by different brands. I think I had myself convinced that they were false positives. I took two more tests on Tuesday and they were also positive!

Looks like I’m 7 weeks 3 days (due date October 9th)!! I’m beyond excited. I suffer from PCOS, I also had weight loss surgery (VSG) in March 2018. I’ve lost 200 pounds total and really wanted to lose another 60, but now my focus is on my little baby growing inside me and making sure she/he is getting all the nutrition needed to grow!

I was finally able to tell my boyfriend last night, I had this big surprise planned out but the onesie I had ordered wasn’t delivered yesterday like it was planned, so I just blurted it out! My boyfriend is beyond excited! We’ve now told a few family members but obviously want to wait to announce until we are out of the first trimester.

I tried setting up my first OB appointment the other day but naturally with changing jobs I’m changing insurance companies. And to even schedule my first appointment the office needs my insurance info, my old insurance isn’t in their system (moved from Illinois to Tennessee), so now I’m in limbo waiting to get my insurance info. I’ll be calling them on Monday morning to get that because I definitely want to get the appointment set up for peace of mind and to make sure everything is going smoothly!
