Shane as a unisex name??

We like Shane for a boy but aren't finding out what we are having. Then we were thinking that maybe it could work for both a boy and a girl. Any thoughts??? I thought maybe spelling it Shayne for a girl but I hate names with weird spelling (I spent my whole life having my name spelled wrong, and I still get emails addressed to "kelly" or "terry" lol)

I don't like it but you can name your baby anything you want. People will either like it or they wont.

I think Shane is cute for a girl. I'm not sure why but I really like boy names for girls. Also, there was a female character named Shane on "The L Word".

My dad's middle name is Shain so if our little peanut is a boy, that's going to be his middle name too. My parents turned Shain into Shea for my sister's middle name. You could always spell it Shayne or Shaine for a girl. 😊

Lynn can be for a boy or girl. My great aunt and uncle are actually both names Lynn lol. Every one calls them big Lynn and little Lynn.
