Best prenatal vitamins?

I'm already on folic acid, I was before we conceived. Now I'm curious on what prenatal vitamins I should take. Not too worried about the price but don't feel like paying 50 a bottle. :) anyone have any advice?

I take Metagenics- Wellness Essentials for Pregnancy. They come in a box of daily vitamin packets with prenatals with folic acid, choline, Omega 3, and calcium/magnesium. They can be taken pre-conception through nursing. Metagenics also has just prenatals that are available. It's the brand that my MD recommends. She has done a lot of research on vitamins and vitamin absorption, and this brand had high ratings in most of the studies she came across.

I took flintstones (not the gummies) when I was pregnant with my lil girl. The other prenatal vitamins made me feel sick so my doctor recommended flintstones and I've been on them ever since:)

Talk to your doctor.  They can prescribe prenatals that just cost your copay.

I have been using the prenatal gummies. All other types made me throw up constantly and almost left me dehydrated. The midwife said its ok to take them. And they taste really good. I think they are vitafusion

The initial prenatal I was taking from my doc (I started before conceiving also) had folic but not dha and I've been hearing so much about it lately. I found spring valley gummies at Walmart which I love that contain a higher amount of folic acid and dha and they're only around 8 bucks a bottle. I found that the gummy form is a lot easier on my stomach also and my nausea has still not let up at about 20 weeks.
