Breast buds?

I was changing my little boy and I noticed he has like some breast buds going on... I never heard of this.. is this normal for baby boys to grow breast looking things? FTM

Very normal. It’s just a reaction to all the hormones in your breast milk. It’ll go away eventually!

My son does too and my midwife said it’s hormones from the pregnancy. When I had my daughter I was told the hormones could cause her to bleed like she had her period. Now that’s some weird stuff our hormones do to our babies! But it’s only for a short time.

I read that this isn’t uncommon and that it’s due to the crazy hormone levels in your system around delivery time. It should go away, no reason to worry!

My daughter has the same and I’m thinking it could be hormones from me either from pregnancy or exclusively breastfeeding. Just a guess so I’m hoping someone has the real answer lol.
