Any thoughts?

I went to planned parenthood for my ultrasound at 6 weeks, they were very vague and said they didn’t know if the pregnancy is viable or not, and that it was small. Can anyone explain this ultrasound to me?

Update: Just came back from the ER after some bad bleeding and cramping. I’m on bed rest for the next three days for threatened miscarriage or tubal pregnancy. Unfortunately, I’m probably going to miscarry, but thank you guys for your support.

6 weeks is very early to have your first scan. In New Zealand they won’t do one till at least 7 weeks. I would go somewhere else the dr sounds like a dick.

I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks but all we saw was the sac. I measured at 5 weeks 5 days so that’s probably why 🤔 my 8 week ultrasound is next Tuesday so hopefully we’ll see something this time!

It’s says on the ultrasound that the gestation age is 5 wks and 2 days, so it’s not going to look like it would at 6 wks

Looks like your ultrasound is just too early to see a fetal pole w/a heart beat. There is a yolk sac which is a good sign and your measuring right around 6 weeks. Do you have a follow up scan booked?

Mine at 6 weeks 2 days on Friday. We saw a flickering heartbeat but couldn’t hear it. He said the baby actually was measuring 5 weeks 5 days but when they’re that small it’s hard to date it correctly so he kept me at 6 weeks 2 days..
