Placenta question?

Had my 12 week scan which they told me i had a posterior placenta. Had a 16 week gender scan done today (girl🥳) which they said I had an anterior placenta! Help! I didn’t think the placenta moved around? 🤔

Lol, well as long as it’s not placenta previa you’re good. It’s one of the two. It’s unlikely it moved but without another ultrasound it’s impossible to say which it is. I’d go with anterior since that’s the most recent result with everything developed more.

So my placenta was fundal at first which means it was right on top and they couldn’t tell if it was anterior or posterior, and at next scan doc said it was anterior. So maybe yours was also on top and just slightly to the back and then moved to the front more. :)
