He got really drunk
Quick back story: my husband has been working away recently I found out he had been drinking spending money that we planned on investing etc. to pay for it. I never stopped him drinking in the past or have a problem with it, however I don’t drink because I don’t enjoy it. His usually not a big drinker at home every now and then has a beer or two.
Anyway our 20 month old had surgery on Friday.. my husband was away for it, i took him on my own and got no thanks for doing it on your own ; you’re so strong or anything. Apparently he tried to get it off but acted strange when I asked if he did get it off or not.
We have had sooo many issues since my son was born with soo many thing from his back injury my birth injury the list goes on. Last night he wanted to have a “date night “ at home because we have actually never done this.. anyway my son didn’t sleep well so I went in a couple of times to calm him etc. which my husband was saying just leave him.. it was literally the next day / night after surgery anyway he eventually went to sleep and we put the movie on.
I had bought him some rum at his request and he had been drinking it all night.. I end up falling asleep at the end of the movie because I am just exhausted.. the surgery day was huge and I was still exhausted from that. I apologise feel so guilty and go to sleep he says his staying up a little longer. I kiss him and go to sleep.
An hour later he comes to bed.. pretty much drank an entire 700ml bottle of rum in like 5 hours or less. Wakes me up and we have really rough and wild sex.. which causes me pain that he knows off because of my injuries still and I’ve told him I just don’t enjoy it like that anymore.. anyway he did go down on me and I orgasm and itsokay it’s fine. I was happy anyway. We start going to sleep he starts coughing.. runs to be bathroom vomits all in our walk in robe before making in there.. then spends the next few hours sleeping and vomiting in the en-suite while I am trying to sleep.
Now my question is... one I am concerned his doing this while his away and it’s def not healthy.. but two your son had surgery not two days ago you’re in the very next room to a 20 month old baby puking and coughing so loud and I just think wouldn’t you not be doing that???? He barely spent that much time with his son since being home:
He never wakes up with the child and this morning he tried wiping up some of the ends but did a really half ass job and didn’t clean the walk in robe and our plush carpet and got up with our son because I think he feels guilty I am still in bed I dont even know why at to say to him this morning
