My 9 month old seems to meet most of his milestones...he crawls, sits up by himself, and can get up into the sit up position by himself. He also started babbling “Mama” and “baba” but mostly “baba” or “papa”. Or just screams 😂 but he doesn’t point to things, doesn’t seem to clap or wave. Is this something I should be worried about? He is my first baby, so I’m not 100% on things, and I worry constantly! I read about how kids with autism will hand flap, and he doesn’t “flap” them, he slaps 🙄 he slaps the table, like bangs it. And sometimes us in the face, etc. is that the same thing?

Annnnd, he doesn’t bang his head necessarily...but he will put his mouth on things and bang his mouth and babble at the same time. (Like you would put your hand on your mouth on and off to make that sound...if that makes sense)

Does this sound like I’m over thinking it? He smiles and makes eye contact. He babbles and shows emotion (smiles and gets excited to see me when I pick him up from daycare). But I’m worried about the milestones he isn’t meeting. Weather he has autism or is just delayed... please help ease my mind. 🙃
