Google Photo shut down?!

Soooo Is it true that Google is shutting down the Google Photos and Plus?! 
I literally have 8yrs of my life downloaded on there. Engagement, Wedding, honeymoon, first baby, second baby, LIFE! 
omg!!! 
I cant lose all my stuff! I dont know where to begin! I’m seriously freaking out. 
Where can I download with the same amenities?! Amazon Photo doesn’t hold jack for videos 😑

Google plus is shutting down so if you have anything on there you wanna keep you need to save it. as for google photos that’s not going anywhere your photos are safe.

No, Google Photos isn't going anywhere. It's just Google Plus. But either way, it's smarter not to use these cloud services to store things and this is exactly why. If they shut down, you're screwed. I highly recommend moving them to an external hard drive.

Supposedly it only affect users who don’t often log into their google photo account, you should have received an email from google if not I’m sure there’s a way to get a hold of someone at google 🤷🏻‍♀️
