Have you ever cheated? Why?

Hi. This might be a strange question but I was just thinking about how I stared to have feelings for another guy while I was in a relationship. I didnt do anything with that crush but I felt terrible. that even though I knew I didnt love my SO anymore I had feelings for someone else.

Call me garbage if you please, but I cheated because my emotional needs were not being met, so chose poorly and dated someone else. It was not official between me and the 2nd guy, but, it was emotional cheating. I told the 1st guy several months after he broke up with Me (for a different reason) and he honestly didn't care...

Back when me and my wife first started dating (about two months in), I started flirting with another girl over Snapchat. It was so dumb and pointless, I don’t know what I was thinking. I guess I just didn’t know what I wanted (it was at a point in my life where I was really immature and was just figuring out who I was, but that isn’t an excuse). We had suggestive conversations over Snapchat, and it never advanced to anything more than that, but it was still suggestive enough that I consider it cheating. About two weeks later I came to my senses and realized I wanted nothing to do with this girl, I wanted my girlfriend (now my wife), so I cut ties with the girl. Unfortunately within a day or two my girlfriend went through my phone while I was sleeping (I don’t blame her because we’re supposed to have nothing to hide), and saw all the messages. I should’ve deleted them, but I’m glad in a way that she saw them, because otherwise i don’t know how I would have come clean, and it would’ve killed me to keep it a secret. She cried on the floor for hours, I’d never felt so awful and selfish in my life. I told her how sorry I was and how I wasn’t thinking, and she knew I cut ties with the other girl, and luckily, she forgave me. I don’t know where I’d be now if my dumb actions had ruined our relationship, and I’ve never even thought about anyone else since. I still have guilt over it to this day, but it taught me about loyalty and how when you have something good, don’t fuck it up for some hoe who doesn’t even care about you.

I was trapped with the guy sho loved me to the moon and back but he was different , he isolated me from friends and fun and my ex cAme to me one night and we escaped was beautiful night and i just dont regret it sorry. In the morning it was over. And i tried to brake up with my boyfriend again and of course he would not let me . It took 2years to come

I cheated when I was like 18 because my first love had been constantly humiliating me & cheating. I wanted to get even but it didn’t help with the pain & damage that had already been done to me. I learned my lesson I’ll never scoop that low again. I could never cheat on my fiancé it hurts me to even think of hurting him. If your “crush” has made you not love your SO anymore you never loved him to begin with so leave him alone & be real with yourself & him.

I guess i’m a horrible person but i cheated technically i was only with this guy for not even a week and i was clearly in love with someone else except i was denying my emotions for him bc my best friend didn’t like him and neither did anyone else. Long story short i cheated on this guy (i kissed the guy i was in love with once) and honestly i told him we broke it off and now i’m 3 months in with the other guy now i know not to get with anyone i don’t truly feel for and fuck what everyone else thinks as long as i am happy with who i’m with. Bad people do bad things and don’t feel remorse or want to better themselves. Good people do bad things but want to better themselves. Cheating is still a bad thing to do and now i know. Everyone has their reasons.

When I was with my last boyfriend we were at a party and I got quite drunk. A guy that really likes me was there. My boyfriend went out to get food and I passed out on the floor. The guy that liked me decided to get on top of me and kiss me. When he did that I woke up and instantly pulled away. When my boyfriend got back I told him and he FREAKED out. His friend (who wasn’t even at the party) told him that I instigated the kiss. I had also been sexually assaulted at a party about a month beforehand and so my boyfriend said “that’s no coincidence, you were asking for it both times” and he broke up with me. Now he’s sleeping with my “best friend”.. so I don’t think I cheated but others seem to have a different opinion..
