Anyone with a similar story with a happy ending?👶🏼
I’m 26 and my fiancé and I have been trying since late 2015 to no success.
I was diagnosed with PCOS at 18 and have been to see a fertility specialist this year after been on a waiting list for so long.
I’m on Metformin 500mg which I take twice a day since November last year.
All blood tests that I’ve taken have shown that I haven’t ovulated but sometimes I get ovulation symptoms later than a regular cycle because my cycles are very irregular.
My last two cycles lasted over 80 days each.
And exactly two weeks before my last period I got crazy ovulation symptoms such as watery heavy CM and really sore breasts so I believe I ovulated but of course I can’t tell for sure.
My SO had to go for his check 1 DPO for that particular cycle so we missed our fertile chance for that cycle.
Now this cycle I’m 4 DPO and I had no symptoms whatsoever and we’ve tried every second day to cover ourselves but I just feel so disheartened that I’ve had no symptoms of ovulation whatsoever.
I try talk to friends and family about what we’re going through and sometimes I get the usual passive remarks of “it’ll happen, you’re still young” “what’s the rush” and it’s just so frustrating.
I had a hycosy done at the end of my last period too so I was told this was a good cycle to try as everything would be “flushed out”.
My best friend is now pregnant and she wasn’t even trying and I feel like I can’t talk to her about our journey anymore cause when I do she doesn’t even respond or continue the conversation so I feel like a crazy lady going on about a pregnancy or baby that I may never have when she’s actually planning for a real baby that’s for sure coming.
We’re due to start Clomid in April so I’m really hoping it happens this year for us but I’m just feeling a little lost lately so if anyone has a similar story and they had a successful happy ending please share! I could just do with some hope today.
And babydust to everyone too! 👶🏼✨
