When considering college, how far would you consider driving to college?

Community college was about 15 minutes from my home. When I transferred to a university it was an hour commute with no traffic. I’m in the California Bay Area so if I left after 2 it could take over 2 hours to get home. Also depending on what time your classes start finding parking can be MISERABLE lol

Depends. For pre reqs, 30 minutes to an hour. For clinical , 3 hours. Which people realistically end up doing. But that’s the later part of some medical programs so you won’t be driving 3 hours for 4 years. Only a few months. So I think it depends on where in your education you’re at and how long you’ll have to make that drive.

You also have to consider parking , weather, hours long it takes you to walk to class and more

My college was 3.5 hours away, but I only had to go twice a week and if I was in a crunch for time I would fly.

Less then 15 minutes because I had a job and was always running late to school , even when I had night classes. There was always traffic too. I didn't want to always get ready for school an hour or more before I had to be there ,planning out traffic and being on time .
