I was prescribed a yeast infection cream by my OB but ended up having my daughter before having a chance to start it. I ended up getting a 2nd degree tear and needing some stitches. When I was leaving the hospital I asked the nurse if it was still okay to take the cream, she said yes since it was a cream but it sounded like she was talking about rubbing it on not inserting. So I left thinking oh this one just rubs on. When I finally did pick it up I realized it does have an applicatior and the instructions pertain to inserting it. I'm two weeks post partum and haven't dealt with it because of the vaginal bleeding and frequent bathroom breaks but I'm healing and bleeding less frequently now so I just want to know if anyone else has used this with a tear before?
