My ex and I have decided to try and work things out. But I found out after we broke up several months ago a friend of mine went after him. I told him that i am not comfortable nor okay with him keeping contact with her. That if he honeslty wants to work things out with me to have no contact with her in anyway. He said he would, well to find out weeks later she said I love you to him and he said it back, i caught him and explained to me that it's not in that way. That she said she loves him since day one of them meeting etc. He also said if she needs anything he will be there for her. Only because she also said that too. His excuse was exaclty this well idk what to say to people comments. First off i asked him not to keep in contact in the first place. Keep in mind this happened online on Facebook. Eh that's how I found out he still kept her on as someone in his life. But yet told me he wants to be with me and loves me only. Should I drop him? I was with him for 3years and still love him but he flat out lied and betrayed me.

He also in other texts goes to say he hasn't done anything with her etc, but the day he told me about this girl he connected with and who it was I was devastated for 3 hours because it was a friend of mine hence why I asked to not have any contact with her*
