Army to Air Force ??

Question

Has anyone’s SO switched from army to Air Force ?? If so what’s the training and process like ?

Pretty sure he will go through some familiarization (like learning air force customs and courtesies, rank, etc) then depending on the career hes going into, he will have to go to tech school. Actually, 90% certain he will have to go to tech school. 
Was he active duty army and trying to go air force reserves/guard? It's hard, but not impossible to go from active duty army to active duty air force. I think it all depends on which career he wants.
