Is it wrong that I love being by myself?

I am totally fine in social situations with close friends and family, but I have NO desire to be around a lot of people I don’t know/sometimes being around friends and family that I love and do know just tires me out so much. I’m a single 25 year old female for reference with a decent social life and close relationships to with my family. I just feel like everyone else LOVES constantly being around other people/interacting on social media and I just...don’t 😂

I’m the same. I have a boyfriend and loads of great friends but a lot of the time even thinking about going out and conversing with other people tires me out. Sometimes I like to just be by myself in peace and quiet.

That's what we call an introvert. I'm pretty similar. It is exhausting being in social settings for long periods of time. Especially if I don't know anyone, small talk crushes my soul.

Nothing wrong with that! I am the same way! I’m just a serious introvert! I love being alone (or even “alone” with my husband.) But being around people just wears me out! I obviously do it sometimes, as we are heavily involved in our church, but it’s not wrong at all to want to have time to yourself.

I'm the same way I love me and my time by myself, I mean it's needed at times, to just clear your head. But if u can't live self enough to enjoy your own company, then how could u expect anyone else to. Ijs!!!

No, you’re an introvert! It’s totally fine! As an introvert, when you are around other people, you need time to yourself afterward to recharge. There’s nothing wrong with it. I’m the same way. I have lots of friends (only a few close and true friends though) and lots of family, but I can only be around them for so long. Also, being around too many people for too long drains me of my energy, it’s exhausting for me, and the only thing that helps is being alone.
