Is this normal??

3 days postpartum. The nurses said swelling is normal but does this look like too much?

I had almost no swelling while pregnant and then I woke up the day after I came home and my feet felt like I had jello injected into them they were so swollen. It went away by day 4!

Mine was awful it took about 2 weeks to go all the way down

I had this as well and I was positive something must be wrong because I had never been a swollen but the nurse said it was normal. My shoes didn’t fit on the way home from the hospital and finally after two weeks they fit normally again. It went away so I guess it was normal just uncomfortable.

I had about that much swelling too.  It was due to them pumping me full of fluids after my c section.  It took about 10 days to go away

I really didn’t have any swelling during pregnancy but about 3 days after giving birth my feet and ankles looked like this. I just kept them up, drank lots of fluids (keep your kidneys flushing fluids) and put an ice pack on them. It was better even within a day.

Is this normal??
