Happens unfortunately when it's aggrivated and might be infected. I would put the piercing back in because you don't want to close the infection in. I've had multiple piercings and that's happened to my ears unfortunately. Just clean it about twice a day. It should be okay.

I would keep it in and clean it really good because if it is infected and you let it close it will keep the infection trapped in it. Also she might need a hooped earring instead because the ones with the back can bother their ears if they are to tight or they could be allergic to is.
