Switching majors?

This might be a dumb question but I've always wondered, can you get an associate's degree in one major and then get your bachelor's in another major? Like if you have an associate's degree in sociology can you get a bachelor's in psychology?

Yes you can do this it just might require you to take some extra courses (so it might take you 5 semesters instead of 4) to get your bachelors

Depends on tbe college, but I think you'd get the same results by minoring in one

Yes, when its something similar it's easier. If you go from an arts degree to science you'll have to take a lot more classes than you would if you went from science to science. 
I know someone who went from culinary to nursing and it took her over 5 years
