Is it ok for boyfriend to threaten to hit you just cause you kept interrupting him???

My boyfriend threaten to hit me with a belt for me interrupting him over and over. I got very angry and hurt that he would say that. He’s never hit me before but he says he will if I don’t stop interrupting him.
