Am I missing something?? Why donate to someone being baptized at all?

Baptism is free, no one should be charging for it . Jesus didn’t charge for it . I can’t with church’s trying to rob people and make money of something that was meant to be free .

Whatever you feel in your heart and only if you want to.  You are not required to donate to the church to be baptized, especially since Matthew 10:8 says "You received free, give free."

I said $25. Unless its someone very close or special to you.

I got baptized last year and we gave the church $75. It's really up to you, if you have the money or not. The don't demand it or expect it. Congratulations btw!
