Who has installed their car seats?

Trying to determine when I should install mine. Have you installed your car seat already and if so when is your due date?

I didn't until we were leaving the hospital lol I don't see the big deal in installing it before then

I am 34 weeks tomorrow but I've had mine in for approximately two weeks now. Just the base though, car seat is still in house sitting with our stuff to go to hospital. Just wanted to make sure I got it installed right though and had it out of the way :)

I don't think I will install mine until the baby comes. I may practice before, but I commute 45 minutes each way to work and I would be pissed if I had to buy a new car seat bc I got in an accident.

35 weeks and we installed it this weekend.

I'm due October 13th I plan to install the car seat Sept 18th. We're taking a road trip from MD to NJ so I felt like I needed to be ready just in case.

I am due 10/18, and I am thinking about installing 30 days prior. Only because I have two older kiddos and I'm trying to determine the best arrangements for getting them in and out of the car as well. One is in a booster and one is still in a 5 point harness so she needs help still.

We installed the car seat base at 34 weeks. Waiting to put the car seat in when little man decides to make his entrance.

Probably about 38-39 weeks like the last two. We've got the configuration figured out already with the older twos seats though ;)

If, heaven forbid!, you were in a car accident you'd need to replace the car seat even if it's empty. Some car seat manufacturers even require replacement for fender benders, FYI.
