If I went to the doctors , ( I am 17 , 18 next month ) for medication to help me convince , would the doctor have the ability to tell my mother I was trying to reiceve the medication . I'm trying hard to surprise her ( as she wants a grandchild badly & of course I want a child of my own with my SO ) so what do you guys think ?

I'm not condoning having a baby at 17 but I don't think the dr can say anything to your mom due to dr patient confidentiality, also unless you've tried for 1 yr they may not prescribed anything yet any how. Go talk to your obgyn.

No they cannot tell. However, the odds of them just prescribing you something with out testing is slim. Therefore, if you're on your parents insurance they are going to get EOB from the insurance.

They can tell your parent of your not 18 and I know from experience that doctors will try their hardest to make you wait on children since we are young but it's not their decision! Do what makes you happy girl :) I've been ttc only for a few months
