Sleep regression/starting solids/rant
So I know theres this whole 4 month sleep regression some of yall have mentioned. Idk if it's that or not, but I swear my girl wakes up every hour to eat now. I'm seriously considering starting cereal to try and fill her little belly up more at nights. She seems to suffer as much as me because some times shell cry out but shes asleep again before I can latch her. Weve been co sleeping (bed sharing) since shes started this. Before I could put her in the bassinet for 4 hours and then after she ate I just kept her in bed until we got up for the day, with her waking every 2 hours to eat. I've been seeing a few posts about cereal being fed to the little ones now... for those of you who have started did you ask your pediatrician first for advice, or did you just start it? I'm afraid to make that executive decision in some ways if they would think its detrimental for her. Also, I have a generalized anxiety disorder so I'm constantly trying to find the balance and questioning decisions. Mostly, shes my first and I know parents make mistakes but I'm afraid of making a big mistake compared to something like "I let her cry it out a little too long today"
Either way I feel like I get a collective 5 hours of sleep, I can never sleep while she naps. On top of it my eye dr told me I likely have spinal fluid built up in my head from pregnancy because my nerves are aggravated and I wasnt feeling the headaches until this started and I'm not getting my usual amount of sleep, I cant see my pcm until March 8th either so I'm just trying to remember how to breathe half the time and not flip my shit. 😂 theres just way too much happening right now and I cant cope very well.
