OBGYN Appointment
March will mark 6 months ttc and I have an upcoming appointment with my OBGYN to discuss my fertility and do lab work.
A little back story: I quit BC pills in September to ttc, had a withdrawal bleed, then after a 90+ day anovulatory cycle I met with my OB and was prescribed provera and scheduled a check up in 3 months for labs. In January I finally ovulated on CD 28. I had an 11 day luteal phase. I am now on CD 25 (2/24/19) with negative OPKs. I am tracking BBT, CM, OPK, and using Preseed.
What should I be prepared to discuss at my appointment? I’m definitely considering Clomid and Femara, but I’m not sure if they’re willing to prescribe it at this point due to my age (22). Is there any specific testing I need to ask for? My appointment this time is with the nurse practitioner, who handles all fertility issues at the practice. Is this normal?
Since my long cycle I have felt like something must be really wrong with me. I’m trying to stay hopeful, especially for my husband, but I’m feeling so discouraged and broken.
