Is anyone else forced to deliver in a hospital that may not allow your partner to stay overnight in the recovery room with you and baby? My hospital's recovery rooms post delivery are two person rooms and if theres a second mother in there then neither of us can have our partners stay overnight.

I dont have a choice I am forced to deliver at this hospital due to insurance but the idea of sharing a recovery room with another new mother and her baby without my partner there makes me sad. Am I being overdramatic is this normal for other hospitals as well?

Edit: For those who want to know what hospital it is it's a military hospital. Since I'm active duty I have to deliver there no options.
