Feeling confused

Period delayed by 5days.i’ve only cramps with mucus which is watery.i ok pregnancy test that is negative .guys please let me know should I wait and my pregnancy test kit is accuhome is it accurate.we have been trying for over than a year but still not seen a double line.its really very hard for us
