Arguing for the stupidest thing and I'm typing my response he sends me that and I'm just lost at words....

If your argument is minor & he’s talking like that I would seriously just drop the whole relationship. If it’s that stressful for him the way he’s saying you need to leave him alone. He could just be gaslighting you there’s no way for us to know the whole story but any conversation that serious just shouldn’t be taken lightly.

From someone that’s been in a similar situation, get rid! This is a way of controlling you, to make you apologise, to make you fear ever getting into an argument in case they do. It’s manipulative behaviour and I promise you will feel so much better without them. I’m not saying it’ll be easy but you will look back and see how toxic the relationship was.
