I breastfed did the first 3 weeks and then let my milk dry up. I’m now 6 weeks pp. is there a way to get my milk production back?

Yes you can get your supply back even without pumping I think! I was doing about half breastfeeding and half formula since birth and at like 10 weeks pp I said screw this and just started putting him to the breast whenever he was hungry and I was able to increase my supply again. I’m not sure if I had stopped completely I would have been successful but I’m happily exclusively breastfeeding my son now at 6 months with no intention of stopping. I’m so glad my insecurities and selfishness didn’t prevent me from breastfeeding in the long run, this is so much better for my son.

My sister re-lactated after 6 month!! Takes hard work! Pumping and taking supplements- fenugreek and blessed thistle, mothers milk tea, lactation cookies and you can ask your midwife or doctor for diclecton (sp) I was on it with one of my babies when I wasn’t producing enough. Or maybe that was my vomiting meds 😂 there IS a med. I promise. Ask you GP and HAPPY MILKING!! ❤️❤️❤️ you got this momma!
