So last night I woke up at like 1:30 am to a popping feeling. It was enough to startle me and wake me up. I got out of bed and stood up and a flood of water hit the floor. I’m 36 w 4 days so we weren’t 100% packed yet.

We packed everything and went to the hospital. They did a swab to see if my water broke but said it didn’t. Did a second swab and it came back negative for amniotic fluid. They said sometimes a woman can have a yeast infection and the same thing happen. But they did a yeast test and it came back negative. So they sent me home and told me to call my doctor when they open. See if he can see me today. So I guess that’s what I’m gonna do.

I swear it was my water breaking. I know I didn’t pee my pants though because a few minutes later I went to the bathroom. A ton of water poured out and made a big puddle on the floor. But I haven’t had any contractions since. 🤷🏼‍♀️
