SHOULD I GET MARRIED AND MOVE IN?

Question

I’m 18 years old and madly in love with my current boyfriend(20).  We talk about how one day we want to get married and live together. Sometimes we talk about do it spontaneously within the next year. I want to spend the rest of my life with him, I know marriage isn’t easy and we’re both young but we both believe there’s no one else we’d rather go through it with than with each other.

sure go ahead and move in together but I wouldn’t get married quite yet. experience life together before marriage first. I think it’s important to know all the ins and outs of your partner and how your relationship works in all situations before marriage and living together is a big part of that.

I got married at 19 and my husband was 22. We have been married for almost 6 years and r as happy as ever. I don't necessarily think age is a determining factor. I think u need to make sure both of u r on the same page on major issues like: having children, the role of a wife and a husband, religion/belief, finances, and education. U could add politics in there is that is something that u guys feel strongly about. U also need to know how to communicate with each other and be open with each other.

When my fiance and i met we were the same age. We moved in together when i just turned 19 and he was 20. We are strong and stable. We are never in need. We pray every night. It all works out. Just know that if you are not financially stable it will not work!!! And emphasis on that x2! No money = not work.

Lol you can wait. Solidify your relationship before jumping the gun. Feelings are fleeting. Lots of folks feel strongly in love, get married fast and it doesn’t last. Marriage is just the paper confirming to the law, it’s not the start line. The relationship is real and valid before marriage and should be able to withstand time before & after. Good luck.

The only person that can answer this question is you. My parents have been together since middle school, I’ve been with my fiancé since Junior year of HS, we plan on getting married but I’m a bit older than you. Maybe if you’re not ready to actually seal the deal, maybe just get engaged and see how it goes?.. If you get married and it doesn’t work out, you’ll probably regret it, but that’s life.
