I have been EBF my baby since day one and he has had less than 5 bottles of formula this whole time (he is almost 7months). That formula was the Enfamil NeuroPro yellow tub since it was a sample. I have also tried the Similac Pro-advance gray tub. He took those bottles well at around 3 months but will not take a bottle and just gag when he tastes the formula and I am anxious to go back to work- both for my sanity and because we need the money. I have read and will be purchasing the COMOTOMO bottles but I cannot decide on the formula I should try next? I read that Enfamil Enspire closely resembles breast milk and also heard good things about the honest company formula. I also want to add that he’s not a big pacifier baby so he’s been refusing pacifiers at night and just wants to fall asleep on my boob 😫

I have looked for samples but most companies just send coupons and I really don’t want to just buy a formula he’s not going to like and have to throw it away (unless I can give it away opened!) and spend more money.

My questions are:

How do you re-introduce formula to a baby this late on? Is there a specific one I should try that might taste close to breastmilk?

What tricks can I use to have him drink it?

Are the comotomo bottles good to use?

My ultimate goal is to formula feed while I’m at work and breastfeed the rest of the time.
