It was so surreal! She tried the abdominal ultrasound first but didn’t see anything so my mind went to “omg there’s nothing there.” But as soon as she did the internal she said there it is! It just looks like a little blob but we got to see the heartbeat, and while we were looking, baby wiggled around!! It was so neat to see! It’s so crazy to think there’s a living thing in my belly!! Baby measured right at 8 weeks today so we get to keep our 10/4 due date. This pregnancy was a huge surprise to us and were still a little shocked but seeing the look on my fiancé’s face was priceless- I think it finally hit him! Good luck to everyone in their pregnancies 🥰
