Water hospital birth turned in to a home birth
Wednesday 20th February, had my nails done and had the car seat fitted, although I was in a little bit of pain.
Around 11pm I went to the toilet and there it was my mucus plug so I thought ohh she’s coming in the next couple dayssss. 🤦🏾♀️ yep I was deffo wrong. I ran the bath that night to try ease the aching pain I had.
Around 2:45am Thursday morning my waters broke then the back to back 5 minutes contractions came they lasted for around half an hour then the 2-3 minute contractions came, I was in so much pain I couldn’t even shout my mum who was in the next room plus I didn’t want to wake her ( stupid but I was being considerate)
At 7:57am I gave birth to my little girl on my bed with no pain relief and nobody there just me myself and I, from labour to birth was 5.5 hours 🤦🏾♀️ must say very proud of myself but wouldn’t recommend it 🤣
My mum said she Hurd a baby crying and ran to my room to see me crouching over my baby as the placenta was still attached, she panicked and woke my dad up and they was both panicking 🤣 my mum rang the labour suit who rang the ambulance which came with in 2 minutes ( hospital literally 3 mins away ).
Lost 2l of blood in the ambulance and in the hospital so had to stay over night and I became anemic. But we’re both fine 🥰
