I read alot of comments online about pain and test was really bad.But that's no true.

I wait more time in waiting area than test.Test lasta Only 10 min.

First

1)Take off bottom clothes and put a blanket around

2) pee before test(when you undress)

2) sit on a flat table( like pap test)

3)Doctor insert pap smear see your cervix

4)Doctor clean your cervix with brown liquid( you will feel lil bit cold)

5)Then he insert the speculum to see your cervix

6)That's when you feel some pain ( menstrual cramps) until Doctor done putting liquid(dye) pain goes away

7)Doctor assistant pull your blanket back so you can put your legs down

8)Doctor take pictures from tubes

9)And he/she told you to raise your legs again

10) Doctor take smear off and your done.He or she tell you if you are normal or not

11)Dress up again ,put some pad in case you bleed.They have everything there for you

12) I was able to drive back home no pain or any discomfort. I took my mom with me just in case.

I didn't bleed or pain after hsg test,took 800 mg ibuprofen one hr before test (4 pill of 200mg ) and infection pill (fertility doctor gave it to me).

They said no sex after until you stop bleeding. Drink alot of water that helps to take liquid off from your body.
