I am almost 24 weeks and need dental work done. I had it planned for after baby comes, but these past few weeks have been hell. Basically I haven't been able to chew anything and have been on a liquid diet. My midwife gave me the go ahead to get xrays and tooth removal. I'm just really nervous about it. I need a couple teeth surgically removed (after botched root canals, the dentist never capped the teeth and the whole tooth fell off leaving the roots still in my gums) and if they are the teeth causing the pain, I would need to be put under, and have a consultation with an OB. The pain has been so bad that my face is swelling, my ear and eyes have been hurting, and massive migraines from this darn tooth. Anyone else have dental work done while pregnant? Again, I'm very nervous...
