I have a question. Do you think living together before getting married would eventually ruin the marriage?

I'm having an ongoing arguement with my boyfriend about this. He says people get divorced because they lived together beforehand and the charm disappeared. He said there are surveys that support this opinion, but he won't show them to me because, according to him, I won't agree with them (which, let's be honest, it's true). I don't agree with him, but also, I've never said I won't change my opinion in a few years.

What is your opinion on this?

Also, we're not getting married anytime soon. We just love to discuss these topics.
