so yesterday was my day off to rest & it was much needed as i’ve been sick. well i was snuggled on the couch on pinterest for all of 10 minutes maybe when I had this exciting idea that sent me to five below for a rug (trying to control litter tracking on tile floors. if anyone has tips, please share). i stopped by target and grabbed some essentials that we were out of & started to head back home to rest. we live in a middle class neighborhood, but surrounded by upper class houses. i took my normal route home & outside of the huge cement wall of one of the massive houses were two perfect white dressers. aside from a little dust, they looked brand new, modern & EXACTLY like the one from my registry. so i go to the door and ask the owner about the furniture and he says they’re $5 each & that i could take them. WHAT?! so instead of resting, i spent the day, with the help of my boyfriend, rearranging furniture to fit the two dressers into our home, and I could not have been happier. 11 drawers of storage space for baby clothes & (selfishly) our linens for $10... i felt like the luckiest woman in the world 😂
