6week pp exam do they look inside your vagina?

Silly I forget with my first if they just look at you or they actually look inside

Mine looked around with a speculum

Mine only felt with a finger or two. I thought she was about to use a speculum and I’m still in pain down there so I seriously cried before she started doing it and during because I was so scared. It wasn’t painful though

My dr. asked some questions and based on my answers decided it wasn’t necessary. Like I had stopped bleeding, didn’t have any pain, and wasn’t getting an iud, so there wasn’t really a need. I feel like it just depends on you, your situation, and your doctor 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine didnt and i had a second degree tear with multiple stitches. I was kinda surprised but happy about it

Mine didn't do a pelvic exam since my pap smear during pregnancy came back normal and I had no complaints.

Mine just checked my cervix. I dilated to a 8 then had a C-section so he just wanted to make sure my cervix was closed. I think they use a speculum if you had a vaginal delivery though.

My midwife just looked with her fingers. I think it depends on how severe of a tear you had too
