Any infant loss mom’s on here? How early did you announce your rainbow baby?

Before 12 weeks because with my first I announced at 36 weeks. Then I got pregnant in August and we were going to wait. I miscarried and I felt like that baby was just forgotten. So I announced this pregnancy at 9 weeks after a scan and hearing the heartbeat so that this baby can be loved and celebrated for as long as we have him. I’m now 12 weeks and 3 days with a healthy baby boy and I don’t regret announcing early. If I had another miscarriage, I’m not scared to say it. It’s life and I feel like there is this stigma around miscarriages. Before I had mine, I felt like I was alone and the only one. Come to find out it happens to a lot of women.

We lost our son at 26 weeks last January.. I’m currently 13 weeks and we won’t be announcing until after multiple anatomy scans & knowing everything is ok with this baby.

After 10 losses, my husband doesn't want to announce our rainbow twins until after 20 weeks when we will finally get to see the babies again. He is so worried about a vanishing twin / losing them.

Lost our son at 6 days old. Born 39 weeks. It’s like I want to celebrate the life of his sibling that God has blessed us with (I am 12 weeks now), but I’m just being very protective of baby, me, and husband. It has nothing to do with jinxing because I believe God’s power overcomes any and all evil, but it’s just simply to avoid anymore overwhelming stimulation. Not only is pregnancy after loss so difficult, but it’s been even more worrisome when I found out I have MTHFR at 11 weeks pregnant and my folic acid levels were elevated. So there’s that to deal with and all these upcoming tests. It’s like a part of me tells myself, “you lost your babyboy after 39 weeks +6 days of life. There’s never the ‘right’ time so just embrace it,” and another part of me that’s always like, “just wait it out..” It’s definitely a hard decision..

I lost my first son at 26 weeks ( premature birth) so I wanted to wait  untill after that before I announced my daughter.
Now with my 3rd pregnancy,  I still have that mind frame,  so I'll wait until at least 20 weeks.
