I bought a pack and play on facebook marketplace trying to save some money on something we really needed. we live in a tri-level apartment that I think will be tough with a newborn if I have to go from the third floor to the bottom floor every time the baby needs changing. I paid 40$ for it and saw the pictures of it setup online, so I didn't set it up when I met the lady in a store parking lot. I am driving home and I start noticing it smells like cigarette smoke in my car. realizing it's the pack and play I, when I got home I had my husband put it in the basemet. now, a few days later I get the energy to set it up....it's filthy, scratched up a bunch and not the model she said it was. I thought I was getting a great deal on a 275$ pack and play with a bassinet and changing table. finding out I paid 40 for a 90 dollar pack and play that is gross and not what I wanted. I can't stop crying because I'm so mad. husband thinks I'm overreacting and that it's no big deal. just. need to vent.
