Baby gas pains. Almost 16 weeks

My son cries, screams and arching his back everyday. He sometimes wakes with the pain. He passes a lot of gas but I feel like its more than the normal gas. He already has silent reflux and is on meds-ranitadine/zantac. I wonder if the meds causing the pain/gas? My heart and nose (hah) breaks during these gassy episodes. Not sure if it's even gas...hes 16 weeks this probably started 4 weeks ago. I've burped, massage, bicycle kicks, drops and limited gassy foods and dairy. Hes breastfed and pediatrician doesnt know and just wants to wait it out? Thank you for your time and thoughts.
