Slowing contractions???

Question

I’ve started having contractions and they’re about 5 minutes apart. My husband is 4 hours away and I’m alone with my 3 kids! Any tips to help slow them down?

Try taking a shower, drinking lots of water.

I know you posted this 4 hours ago so likely its a bit late, but sometimes getting into water, like a bath can slow down labour, and even if it doesn't at least it might help with the contraction pains

Unfortunately I don’t think there is anything you can do to slow them down! See if you can arrange childcare or someone to be with you just in case! Good luck
