Birth Story: On 02/23 at 11:45 PM my water broke. We headed to the hospital and arrived by 3 AM. We were told to eat and rest a little before we got there. When we arrived they checked me and I was still not dilated. I was given an IV with fluids and then pitocin. The pitocin wasn't to bad on my body at all but baby boy didn't like it much. I labored until 12 PM and then received the epidural. I was checked again and was 2 CM. Labored a little longer and baby boy's heart rate took a nosedive. We were able to get it back up, but I was still 2 CM dilated. The decision was made for me to have a c-

section. I was terrified but it wasn't that bad. Recovery has been going well and baby boy has latched and is doing great!
