Is it possible to implant late?

I took a test at the day of my "missed period" or 14DPO and got the faintest positive. So faint my husband told me it was negative. Well today is 16DPO and you can definatly see the line but what im wondering is so many pregnant women get a dark positive at 14DPO. Is it possible I just implanted late? I know for a fact I ovulated 16 days ago.

Congratulations!! I tested today at 10dpo and got a negative! I know it’s early as af isn’t due for 3 days! But this gives me hope that I still ain’t out yet!! Wishing you all the health and happiness for your pregnancy! Xoxox

Yea you can implant later. No one implants on the same day. It's anywhere from 6 to 12 dpo. So if someone implants on 6dpo their positive is gonna be darker soon as hcg doubles every 2 days. If you implant on day 12 it'll take until 14dpo to even have enough hcg to show a faint line.

i’m wondering the same thing.. like how can women get a dark blazing positive at 9 DPO?! and I was also wondering if you implant later does that mean that you have a higher risk for miscarriage....
