Menstrual cramps and back pain?

I am 37 weeks exactly. Last night I woke up around 3:00AM with some mild but consistent menstrual-like cramps and lower back pain. It lasted until about 5:00. This is the first time I have experienced this. Is this normal?

I had cramps and back ache the other night, felt nauseous. Baby is still cooking :)

You can try a heat pad and see if that relieves it. My doctor says that if that doesn't help make your back feel better it's most likely back labor I stead of aches.

I’m 37 weeks and 1 day and almost every night been feeling that for about a week. I’m guessing it’s our bodies getting prepared 😁

I’ve been getting something similar for the past couple days off and on. I’m hoping it’s the beginning of labor.

I need it to NOT be labor. Ha. I was only 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced last week. I see my midwife tomorrow, but I need this baby to bake at least a couple more weeks! 😬

My ob did tell me many times labor might start in your back and you'll get consistent pain in ya tummy...your belly should feel hard
