I had my first anatomy scan at 20 weeks, but they had me come back today (28w3d) because they couldn’t get pictures of baby’s heart, face, or basically anything. They got his spine but that was about it. So anyways, I got my second scan this morning but she still couldn’t get pictures. She gave me ice water and told me to drink that while waiting to see the doctor and then I’ll have another scan before I leave. If they can’t get the pictures then, I’ll have to come back again. Has anyone else had this happen? Baby boy was moving all around and had the hiccups. She (ultrasound tech) and I could both feel him moving around my belly, but still couldn’t get him to move the way she needed. I’m getting worried because I have not gotten one single good profile view of baby or of his face this whole pregnancy.
