Looking for advice - not a same sex couple
I really hope this post doesn’t offend anyone at all. I feel like you all could give me the best advice so I will ask here. If it’s not allowed I will delete it. I’ve asked in other places but some people just don’t understand and even say it’s not possible and I know that’s not true at all.
Well to make a long story short most of the time my husband isn’t able to ejaculate during sex so we’ve been trying at home insemination since we are trying to conceive our 2nd child. It worked in January but it ended in a miscarriage.
I keep searching for the proper steps and I get different things. The month I got pregnant I’m pretty sure I waited about 10 mins while the sperm liquifies in body temperature but I’ve also read you should do it as soon as you can.
To the ones who have gotten pregnant with this method what steps did you take? Also is there any supplies I am missing?
I have specimen cups, needless syringes. I’ve used preseed in the past but I have read that it can help weaker sperm get to the egg and result in miscarriage, but I’m pretty desperate after what I’ve been through so I may consider it this month. I’m also really scared of menstrual cups getting stuck so I don’t think I can do that lol. I wish I could.
Thanks for any help!
