No period for almost two years!

So, back in 2016 I had the IUD Skyla for about 2-3 months before the pain and bleeding was too much to take. So I went back to the OBGYN and apparently it was sitting sideways in my uterus instead of upright like a T. So I had it removed and was given a birth control pill. Took that for about 3 months then stopped because I was constantly feel sick. Fast forward to October of 2017. I had been having some really bad pelvic pain and my periods were little to nonexistent. So I went under the knife for the doc to see what was going on and why my period had suddenly started acting so strange and why I was having pelvic pain. All she found was some scar tissue around my ovaries mainly on the left side where the pain was mostly at. Since then I haven’t had a period. I went back to the doc on Valentine’s Day (didn’t have insurance for most of 2018 and still don’t but my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant) Doc ran some blood work and took some vaginal swabs (refused to do a papsmear even though I requested) also, forgot to mention when I made the app I had told the nurse I had found a small lump in my breast and was a bit concerned since breast cancer runs in the family. She didn’t do an exam or anything. She basically told me she doesn’t know why I’m not having a period and why I’m also going to the bathroom. Fast forward a week and my blood comes back. My A1C is 4.7 which is the lowest possible number for pre- diabetes (which runs heavy on both sides of my family) but other than that my hormone levels are good and I show no sign of infection or bacteria. So she puts me on a pill that’ll jump start my period. I take it for 5 out of 10 days before calling the doc and asking if I can stop taking it since it was causing heartburn to the point I couldn’t breath. She said yeah fine since you’re going to be going to a different office. (I had asked for a referral to UNC chapel hill for a second opinion) well, I’ve finally started a period but it is super heavy and I’m passing blood clots the size of golf balls every time I go to the bathroom. The cramps are killing me and my left side pelvis feels like I’m being stabbed. Should I be concerned or try to wait it out? I am very scared and nervous since my husband is a long distance truck driver and I have no one here if something were to happen.
