Could it be gas?

My daughter has been super fussy and crying like she’s uncomfortable. She’s also really antsy and would wake up in the middle of her sleep crying like she’s in pain. Sometimes she would have her legs bent up towards her belly. Could this be gas pain? I was thinking about trying gas drops to see if it helps. She’s almost 6 weeks old.

My son (four weeks) did the same thing. We now have a perscription and he is so much better and looks more comfortable. Gas drops didn’t help up.

My baby was like that and we tried gripe water and it worked really well it was gas and he had to poop after a couple days he went about five times in one day I think he was constipated. you could also try taking probiotics yourself or they make baby probiotics I think it's Gerber.

Try giving gas drops right after your last feeding before putting her to bed and see if that helps. Personally mine hasn’t had a problem with gas so I can’t speak from experience but my friend said to take gas drops after you feed her instead of just when the gas hits. She has to give her baby drops after every feeding but she said it’s helped immensely and her Dr said it won’t hurt the baby and gave her the green light for it.

My son is doing the same thing. I’m sure it’s gas. I tried gas drops with no immediate success I’m trying to alter my diet (no dairy, beans, caffeine etc.) to see if that helps . I think his issue is for some reason he gulps air while BFing. He started doing it 2 weeks ago I can’t figure out why.
